Maternal Health

Maternal Health services are provided to pregnant women in Lee and Des Moines counties.  As a client, you would receive:

• Personalized attention from a nurse from the convenience of your home
• Indivdualized health education (on topics such as nutrition and childbirth)
• Oral health screenings and services that benefit not only mom, but give baby a healthy start too!
• Help finding medical coverage
• Help finding a doctor, dentist, and other needed providers
• If needed, help paying for doctor and dental visits
• Information on other community programs that might benefit your family
• Social worker visits, if needed
• Help in arranging transportation
• Help arranging for an interpreter if needed
