Health and Well Kids in Iowa (hawk-i) is a program that provides health care coverage for Iowa children in families with limited incomes.  Many families who work hard to make ends meet can get low-cost or free health care coverage for their children up to age 19.

Services children can receive are:

• Mental health/substance abuse care
• Outpatient hospital services
• Hospice care
• Well child visits
• Speech and Physical Therapy
• Vaccines & shots (immunizations
• Ambulance services
• Emergency care
• Nursing care services
• Inpatient hospital services
• Durable medical equipment
• Prescription medications
• Hearing exams
• Eye glasses & vision exams
• Home Health Care
• Dental care & exams
• Chiropractic Care
