Health and Well Kids in Iowa (hawk-i) is a program that provides health care coverage for Iowa children in families with limited incomes. Many families who work hard to make ends meet can get low-cost or free health care coverage for their children up to age 19.
Services children can receive are:

- Outpatient hospital services
- Hospice care
- Well child visits
- Speech and Physical Therapy
- Vaccines & shots (immunizations
- Ambulance services
- Emergency care
- Nursing care services
- Inpatient hospital services

- Prescription medications
- Hearing exams
- Eye glasses & vision exams
- Home Health Care
- Dental care & exams
- Chiropractic Care
