Many times it is believed that grief only comes at the end of a loved one’s journey. A caregiver experiences grief on a daily basis as they watch their loved one deal with the terminal illness. It’s important to talk about feelings, and to receive support with daily grief. A loved one’s end of life journey is life changing for the caregiver, family, and friends. LCHD-Hospice encourages caregivers to utilize the Caregiver’s Support Services that are available.
Bereavement is also available to the community regardless if they have been affiliated with LCHD-Hospice.
